DIN917 cap nuts, also called thin dome acorn nuts, are a classic European standard fastener designed with a closed rounded dome head, exclusively produced from high-quality carbon steel in our factory. Different from taller DIN1587 cap nuts, DIN917 features a low-profile compact structure, which saves installation space while fully covering exposed bolt threads for dual protection & neat decorative appearance.

Our carbon steel DIN917 cap nuts adopt raw materials including 1008/1010/10B21 carbon steel, available in mechanical strength grades Class 4, 6, 8 and 10 to match different load-bearing assembly demands. The integrated one-piece dome shell effectively blocks dust, water splash, rust and accidental scratch damage to thread ends, eliminating sharp exposed bolt tips to improve operation safety for machinery, furniture and automotive assemblies.

We provide multiple anti-corrosion surface treatments for carbon steel blanks: blue-white zinc plating, yellow zinc plating, black oxide, nickel plating and Dacromet coating, all compliant with EU RoHS standard. Complete metric sizes cover M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M14, M16, M18, M20, M24, supporting both coarse and fine thread specifications; customized non-standard sizes, special height and plating requirements are all acceptable for OEM orders.
